About Retail Rebel
Back to basics-ish
In an industry obsessed with buzzwords and shiny frameworks,
I stand for something simpler. And more human. Back to basics – if you like.
I don’t believe in Excel sheets or KPIs as the drivers of good retail.
I believe in using them as tools – if and when they make sense.
But never as replacements for gut feeling, customer connection or shop floor wisdom.
Because here’s the truth:
Retail has always been omnichannel.
Long before the buzzword existed, we sold on whatever platforms were available.
Markets, workshops, phone.
And customer centricity? That’s what small shops were built on.
But somewhere along the way, the industry got distracted.
It bought into hype and hollow trends.
And in trying to “think big and innovative” we forgot what made retail matter.
That’s why I created Retail Rebel.
To bring the retail thinking back to the floor. Back to the people.
Back to the part that’s always made shops essential:
Their ability to connect. To serve. To sell—beautifully and meaningfully.
