About Retail Rebel
Back to basics-ish
In an industry that’s been obsessed with buzzwords and shiny frameworks.
I stand for something simpler. And more human. Back to basics – if you like.
I don’t believe in Excel sheets or KPIs as the drivers of good retail.
I believe in using them as tools—when they make sense.
Not as replacements for gut feeling, customer connection or shop floor wisdom.
Because here’s the truth:
Retail has always been omnichannel.
Even before the word existed, we sold on whatever platforms were available.
Phone. Fax. Word of mouth. Window signs.
And customer centricity? That’s what small shops were built on.
But somewhere along the way, the industry got distracted.
It bought into hype and hollow trends.
And in trying to “think big,” it forgot what made it matter.
That’s why I created Retail Rebel.
To bring retail thinking back to the floor.
Back to the people.
Back to the part that’s always made shops essential:
Their ability to connect. To serve. To sell—beautifully and meaningfully.
